U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Schenectady, NY. You will be the face of our service, helping customers with rentals, inspections, and equipment returns, using U-Scan tech to dispatch and manage inventory. This role emphasizes safety, customer education, and on-the-job learning opportunities.

Responsibilities include vehicle hookup, hitch installation, propane filling, and assisting with invoices. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Other duties as assigned.
