Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the friendly face helping customers at our locations. You will assist customers with rentals, explain services, and use U-Scan tech to manage equipment dispatch and inventory.

The role includes inspecting and maintaining gear, loading/unloading trailers, and providing safe, courteous service throughout the customer journey. Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you work with a supportive team and participate in ongoing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.
• Ability to work with customers and explain services clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot and ensure safety.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and assist with propane/forklift certifications as applicable.
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
