Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our store, assisting customers with rentals, inspections, and inquiries. You will use U-Scan tech to dispatch and return equipment, and you may learn to operate forklifts and perform hitch installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Able to work in a team environment and assist customers with rentals and products.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot; educate customers on products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane filling (certification offered).
• Operate a forklift (certification offered); perform other duties as assigned.
