Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be the face of our service. You’ll assist customers, manage rentals with U-Scan tech, and help move and hook up trucks and trailers. The role includes inspecting equipment, answering questions, and educating customers on our products and services.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Opportunities exist for on-the-job training, certifications for propane and forklift, and ongoing

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers on products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane filling (certification provided after employment).
• Forklift operation (certification provided after employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
• Other duties as assigned.
