Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our exceptional service. You will assist customers, manage rentals with U-Scan, inspect equipment, and educate customers on products and services.

The role includes hands-on training, opportunities for advancement, and bonuses such as a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus upon certification completion. U-Haul emphasizes a team-oriented environment and flexible education opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered on employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
