Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store and customer service experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate directions clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet customer needs and service standards.
• Implement strategies to improve customer service and drive store sales.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure prime shopping hours and product presentation meet company standards.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning and development needs for team members and support promotion decisions.
• Disciplinary actions and recommendations concerning discharge where applicable.
• Ensure adherence to P&L, sales targets, and shrink control.
• Provide fast, friendly, and exceptional customer service.
