Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to handle cash register duties and front-end tasks as needed in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates have high school diplomas, prior retail service experience, strong math and communication skills, and a commitment to integrity and teamwork. Physical duties include lifting and standing for long periods as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
