Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help with daily store operations, merchandising, and front-end support. You will maintain a clean, welcoming environment and assist customers while cross-training on cash register duties.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior retail or service experience; physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity and basic math for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, including bathrooms and floors.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
