Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in West Virginia is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to helping customers. You will help maintain a clean, welcoming environment and be cross-trained to assist at the front end as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable attendance, and positive interactions with customers and colleagues. You will handle sales transactions at the register and help protect store assets while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned*.
