Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help run daily store operations with a friendly, helpful attitude and a focus on creating an inviting shopping experience. You’ll assist with merchandising and stocking, support cash register operations, and be cross-trained to cover front-end duties as needed, while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Strong customer service, communication, and basic math skills are essential, as is the ability to lift 30–50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, including merchandising and stocking.
• Support cash register operations and front-end duties as needed.
• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment and restock as needed.
• Interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Ensure cash handling security and protect company assets.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
