Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
• High level of integrity is required
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely
• Merchandising and stocking as needed
• Maintaining cleanliness in the store, bathrooms, floors, trash, and presenting neat areas
• Maintaining a positive, safe environment with courteous interactions with customers and staff
• Managing sales transactions while working the assigned cash register
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets
• Other duties as assigned
