Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to assist with daily store operations, from merchandising to front-end support. You'll work part-time at our San Pablo, CA location, delivering a clean, welcoming shopping environment and friendly interactions with customers and teammates.

You will cross-train on the cash register and front-end duties, handle transactions, and help maintain accurate cash handling and store security while providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and moving.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong math skills for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations from merchandising to cash register support.
• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock shelves as needed.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment including restrooms.
• Handle transactions and operate assigned cash register.
• Protect cash assets and maintain security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
