Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You’ll interact with shoppers throughout the day, answer questions, and ensure customer needs are met with friendly service.

The role may involve helping with product selection, stocking, and checkout support, with daily tasks that vary by department and store needs.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including data entry and information retrieval.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by filling empty shelf spaces and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to enhance customer service.
• Assist with department setup and guide customers through checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
