Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome shoppers and help them find products and services for their home improvements.

You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with product selection, and ensure customer needs are met in a friendly environment. The role involves standing and walking, with potential to load merchandise and cross-train across departments to deliver top service.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• Six months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones and tablets).
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing and other activities.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty areas and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/bundle wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
