Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You will engage customers throughout the day, answer questions, and ensure customer needs are met with friendly service.

The role supports multiple departments and may involve loading merchandise, stocking, and assisting customers at checkout. A flexible, team-oriented environment is offered with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer including data entry or information access
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones or tablets
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction)
• Able to perform duties with prolonged standing and other physical activities
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
• Stock shelves and replenish merchandise as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service
• Prepare merchandise in your department per customer needs (e.g., paint, plumbing, wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
