Job summary

Dime Commercial Bank is hiring a Customer Service Associate for its Long Island City Branch in Queens. The CSA will ensure accurate completion of customer requests, respond to inquiries promptly, and process routine bank transactions.

Prior universal/relationship banking experience is a plus, with emphasis on compliance and cross-training. The role requires attention to detail, a minimum of one year in retail banking, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year retail banking experience required.
• Cash-handling experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Advanced PC, Network, E-Mail, Director, Internet, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile cash drawer and cash handling procedures.
• Perform account services for Dime customers.
• Respond to inquiries and offer informed product/service solutions.
• Support branch manager's business development efforts.
• Adhere to BSA/CTR/SAR reporting requirements.
• Complete New Account and File Maintenance reviews for SOX 404.
• Maintain knowledge of bank regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for lending needs and refer to proper department.
• Make decisions within authority and cross-train on teller duties.
