Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK in Peoria, IL is hiring enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our sales team. The role emphasizes strategic selling, inbound leads, and building lasting relationships with customers in a fast-paced environment.

You will provide outstanding customer service, recommend moving and packing services, and input data into our internal software while handling inquiries and follow-ups. Full-time hours with a base pay of $18/hour plus commissions and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in sales or customer service.
• Strong customer service skills with clear communication.
• Ability to multitask and enter data while talking to customers.
• Willing to undergo background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service on calls and online inquiries.
• Recommend moving, junk haul, storage, and packing/moving products based on customer needs.
• Input information into internal software for services offered.
• Obtain customer feedback and address concerns via inbound and outbound communication.
• Prepare related paperwork and documents.
• All other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Provide outstanding customer service on all calls and online inquiries
• Recommend moving services, junk haul services, storage services and packing/moving products based on cost, availability, and customer specifications.
• Input information into internal software based on customer contact and solutions for all services offered.
• Obtain customer feedback through follow-up calls, both during and after moves; calmly and professionally handle customer concerns through inbound and outbound communication.
• Prepare related paperwork and documents.
• All other duties as assigned.

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED; associate's degree in a related field preferred
• At least 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience
• Excellent customer service skills: effective listening and communication
• Ability to multi-task and enter customer data into software while on the phone
• Confidence to initiate customer contact and comfortable asking for the sale
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Exceptional organization and time management skills
• Strong team player who works productively with a wide range of people and personalities
