Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Customer Relationship Representative to deliver high-quality service, drive sales, and manage client relationships in a fast-paced banking center. You will open accounts, process loan applications, and promote digital tools while meeting personal production goals.

You will engage with clients to assess financial needs, maintain accurate records, and partner with team members to achieve branch targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year banking, sales, or related experience; at least 6 months selling products/services.
• S.A.F.E Act registration required at hire; notary designation possible.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of bank products/services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service by handling a range of banking needs in a busy banking center.
• Engage clients to understand financial needs and recommend products, services, and digital solutions.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process loan applications.
• Educate clients on digital tools and enroll them in online banking services.
• Document client interactions in CRM; pursue referral opportunities for additional services.
• Support operational controls and compliance with bank policies.
