Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a friendly and energetic store associate to greet customers and manage the storage buy pick-up process. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available in our California store.

You will verify identities, collect required information, process orders in the POS, and provide product knowledge to help customers make selections while upholding safety and brand standards. This role requires retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of store management and store associates.
• Strong computer skills and internet project coordination experience.
• Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet storage buy customers.
• Manage the storage buy pick-up process with the company’s car topper program.
• Demonstrate knowledge and comply with the company’s phone answering SOP.
• Verify the identity of the person picking up the storage buy orders.
• Obtain the required customer information on all storage buy pick-ups.
• Deliver customer storage buy orders in POS.
• Comply with lifting safety SOPs.
• Be an expert in all product knowledge and assist customers with questions and selections.
• Clean and stock products per Floor & Decor’s brand standards.
• Act and work in a manner consistent with the company’s core roles.
