• Place customer orders by phone, fax, email, or walk-in.
• Negotiate sale and purchase price within parameters to influence gross profit.
• May adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Ensure inventory levels are adequate to fulfill orders and determine cost-efficient shipping methods.
• Place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO without approval.
• Source products from branch, distribution center, or supplier inventories.
• Coordinate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle backorders and returns as needed.
