Genuine Parts Company in Pittston seeks a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill customer orders and manage incoming calls under close supervision.

You will respond to product inquiries, provide quotes, enter orders, quote pricing within parameters, build relationships to encourage repeat business, and coordinate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with 0–3 years related experience.
• Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening.
• Ability to multi-task and time management skills.
• Moderate computer skills, including information processing, emailing, and using business systems to find products on the internet.
• Product knowledge is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk in (counter sales).
• Influences gross profit through negotiating sale and purchase price within parameters.
• May adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and drive process improvements.
• Orders items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers.
• Determines the most cost effective shipping method for customer orders.
• Partners with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expedites backorders and may pull inventory for shipment.
