Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a Unit Manager, Customer Operations in its Ground Handling Department. The role oversees daily ops, coaches staff, and ensures safety and service standards while coordinating staffing and resources.

You will report to the Department Manager, Customer Operations and drive performance through teamwork and policy adherence in a dynamic airport environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory experience in Ramp and Customer Service.
• Strong manpower and equipment preplanning skills.
• Familiarity with Airport Operations Area (AOA) environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations with focus on safety and service.
• Coach staff and provide career development.
• Schedule staff including rotations, breaks, overtime, and back-ups.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and address non-compliance.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
