Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a Unit Manager, Customer Operations for our Ground Handling Department in Phoenix. You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, and ensure safety and efficiency in equipment handling and staffing.

You will preplan manpower, manage a diverse team of supervisors and agents, and report to the Department Manager, Customer Operations. This role requires strong leadership and adherence to corporate policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Aviation, Business or related field.
Minimum two years supervisory experience in Ramp and Customer Service preferred.
Proven ability to preplan manpower and equipment and coach staff.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations to meet company goals and customer expectations.
Coach and develop staff and manage career progression.
Impose corrective action for non-compliance and drive safety and process adherence.
Schedule staff including rotations, breaks, overtime, and backups.
Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly reports.
Conduct performance reviews for team members.
