Job summary

Kirkland’s Home is seeking a Sales Leader who is customer-obsessed, with strong product knowledge and visual presentation skills. The role collaborates with the Store Manager to execute store plans and guide the team, building rapport with customers and co-workers to maximize sales.

The position requires a high level of comfort in customer and team interactions, including leadership on duties, freight processing, and ensuring accurate inventory and pricing. Weekend/evening work is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer selling skills required.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and values customer selling in both in-store and online shopping experiences.
• Drives a customer-obsessed culture and guides team on greeting, re-engaging, educating, adding on and thanking customers.
• Understands role in sales growth and store profitability.
• Reads customer cues and responds to create excellent in-store experiences.
• Educates customers on loyalty programs, promotions, and merchandise to support basket-building.
• Acts as a brand ambassador and upholds company policies.
• Performs Manager on Duty responsibilities including opening/closing procedures and supervision.
