Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Customer Insights Analyst to transform customer and operational data into clear, actionable insights for our Payer Retrieval business. This role will collect, analyze, and visualize data to identify trends, monitor performance, and help teams better understand customer needs and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years in business analysis, customer insights, data analytics, or related role.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools including Sigma Computing.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills; familiarity with cloud data warehouses.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven insights.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets; strong communication skills.
• Ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze customer and operational data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain Sigma dashboards, recurring reports, and performance summaries with visibility into key metrics.
• Use SQL to retrieve, combine, and analyze data for reporting and decision-making.
• Monitor KPIs and translate findings into actionable insights for teams and leaders.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer questions on customer performance, retrieval operations, and business trends.
• Create presentations and visual stories to communicate complex findings clearly.
• Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and recommended analytical solutions.
• Identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities through quantitative analysis.
• Support evaluation of initiatives by measuring results and impact on outcomes.
• Document metric definitions, methodologies, and key findings; ensure data accuracy.
• Support scalable reporting and customer insights capabilities within Payer Retrieval.
