Job summary

Thompson Safety, LLC seeks a Service Representative in Farmers Branch, TX to service and grow the assigned customer base, and to exceed customer expectations with urgency. You will collaborate with Account Executives to maximize the company’s growth.

Essential duties include developing new business through cold calls and leads, maintaining ongoing customer contact, scheduling service visits, and supporting marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
• Familiar with codes, products attributes, and procedures within the safety field.
• General awareness of business, financials, sales, and safety principles.
• Strong ability to utilize technology to increase the customer experience.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing new business opportunities through cold calls and leads.
• Establishes contact and comfort level between customers and staff.
• Maintains contact with customers through sales calls and scheduled service frequency.
• Develops skills through company provided and vendor training programs.
• Supports in marketing programs and initiatives.
• Contacts potential customers to initiate the sales process.
• Replicates best practices by observing other Service Representatives and Sales Executives.
• Introduces and implements new products and service to assigned accounts.
