Citizens Bank is seeking a friendly Teller to greet customers, assist with transactions, and demonstrate digital banking tools in our Wynantskill, NY branch. You’ll deliver personalized service, educate customers on products, and connect them with bankers for next steps.

The role emphasizes cash handling, adherence to policies, and building long-term customer relationships. Hours are 40 per week, with some weekends/evenings; salary starts at $21/hour and up, with pay scales up to $25.48/hour.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• Minimum 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Minimum 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobbies and assist with transactions.
• Demonstrate how to use our mobile app or ATMs to complete simple transactions.
• Provide personalized advice and solutions to meet customers’ financial goals.
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits and respond to questions.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures including cash handling and regulations.
