Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate who will manage and maintain stores within your district, delivering standout customer service and basic property upkeep. This role emphasizes daytime hours with potential Sundays off and opportunities to grow across the U.S.

You’ll develop customer relationships, meet sales goals, perform daily operational tasks, lease units, process payments via POS, and keep facilities clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• Frequent ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, completing daily deposits, and making courtesy calls about late payments.
• Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and store grounds, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintaining a clean and safe storage facility to meet company guidelines.
