Interstate Companies Inc is seeking a Service Advisor in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota to join our team. The role centers on customer-focused service with a strong emphasis on problem solving and repair coordination to keep heavy trucks on the road.

You will work closely with technicians, parts, and warranty to ensure top-notch service. A high school diploma and 3 years of service writing experience are preferred, with competitive hourly pay and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Strong problem solver with the ability to think outside of the box.
• 3 Years of Truck or Automotive Service Writing Experience Required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the service counter as well as by phone and taking care of their needs using our Elite Support processes and standards.
• All aspects of transaction from taking appointments to completing invoices and collecting from customers.
• Assist fellow service office employees with managing schedule and workload.
• Manage technician time and monitor repair progress for maximum efficiency.
• Work with parts department by gathering information to complete repair estimates before updating customer for approval.
• Work with outside vendors for sublet work needed on customer units.
• Assist with warranty claims at branch level and work with warranty department to ensure maximum warranty recovery with vendors.
