Job summary

North Central International in Minnesota seeks a Service Advisor to act as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, guiding intake to delivery and ensuring a seamless repair experience.

You will prepare accurate estimates, coordinate warranty requirements, monitor progress, and clearly explain completed work and charges while maintaining thorough documentation and supporting high-quality repair operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with service management software (DMS), estimating tools, and warranty systems preferred.
• ASE certification(s) or OEM training certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
• Prepare accurate service estimates and repair orders, coordinating warranty requirements.
• Monitor shop workflow, parts availability, and job progress to minimize downtime.
• Communicate with customers and internal departments about updates and charges.
• Review completed jobs for accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to quality standards.
• Assist with planning and coordinating shop work and scheduling.
• Assist in reviewing technician findings and preparing estimates.
• Close work orders and prepare invoices and follow up on pending items.
