CITITRENDS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service and maintain knowledge of merchandise to drive customer satisfaction.

The role requires a proactive, vigilant individual able to engage customers in a dynamic retail environment and support a positive work culture within Store Operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be willing to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Process freight.
• Assist with price changes/markdowns.
• Balance register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains store cleanliness and housekeeping as assigned.
• Provide courteous customer service, greet and assist customers, and guide them through fitting room policies.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers post-transaction.
• Assist Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures and report incidents as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
