Job summary

CITITRENDS is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain knowledge of merchandise, and support a positive store culture. The role requires proactive engagement with customers, integrity, and effective communication in a dynamic retail environment.

The Sales Associate will participate in merchandising, POS transactions, and adherence to loss prevention procedures while upholding company policies and providing a friendly shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic calculations (addition, subtraction, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Process freight and price changes/markdowns.
• Balance register according to policy.
• Bag merchandise and ring customers at the register.
• Handle cash, checks, and cards per policy.
• Obtain management approval for returns/voids as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping tasks.
• Provide courteous customer service and explain exchange/refund policies.
• Assist with loss prevention and report theft or incidents.
• Support store team with merchandising on the sales floor.
• Other duties as assigned.
