Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate at our Southlake, TX location. You will help customers find products, ensure a fast, friendly checkout, and participate in truck unloading and stocking to keep the store well-merchandised.

We value customer service, teamwork, and adherence to SOPs. The role involves omnichannel support like BOPIS/SFS and engaging customers with the Rewards program and credit card enrollments.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, move around store, and assist customers in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide fast checkout with cash handling to standards
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store
• Support shrink and safety programs
