Job summary

Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, and Cash Store are part of CNG Holdings, Inc. We seek an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador in Wisconsin. You will ensure outstanding customer service and regulatory compliance while supporting store operations.

The role involves cash handling, customer education on products, and collaboration with store leadership to meet performance goals. Minimum education and experience are required, with opportunities for growth in a retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year in sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.
• Must have own reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio, presenting options that meet needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager, District Director of Operations, and corporate office as needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries related to general questions, applications, or other issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally, explaining solutions and ensuring customers feel supported.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits as required.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Verify customer information during transactions; process all transactions per policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete compliance trainings.
