Job summary

DARCARS of Fairfax is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer to present and sell warranty products and repairs, while ensuring adherence to manufacturer schedules and company policy. You will build rapport and promote customer satisfaction and retention.

You will greet customers, gather vehicle information, provide estimates, set repair timelines, and manage service appointments to drive efficient, quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment background screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and collect vehicle information.
• Advise on maintenance in line with manufacturer specs.
• Generate and provide complete repair estimates.
• Communicate repair completion times to customers and technicians.
• Answer incoming service calls and schedule appointments.
• Follow up with customers to encourage repeat visits and CSI.
• Adhere to warranty guidelines and company policy.
• Maintain privacy and comply with laws and dealership rules.
