Job summary

DARCARS of Fairfax is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer to present, consult and sell warranty products and repair services to customers while adhering to manufacturer schedules and company policy. Build rapport to promote customer satisfaction and retention.

You will greet customers, estimate repairs, communicate timing with customers and technicians, and manage service appointments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening.
• Previous automotive service advisor experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and collect vehicle information.
• Advise customers on care and maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Generate and present estimates for repairs and warranties.
• Communicate repair timelines to customers and technicians.
• Answer service calls and schedule appointments.
• Maintain CSI through professional service and follow-up.
