Job summary

DARCARS of Silver Spring is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor/Writer to present, consult and sell automotive warranty products and repair services to customers in a professional manner while following manufacturer maintenance schedules and company policy.

You will greet customers, collect vehicle information, estimate repairs, communicate completion times, answer service calls, schedule service appointments and build customer rapport to promote satisfaction and retention while upholding CSI

Qualifications

• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background).
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain pertinent vehicle information.
• Advise customers on the care and maintenance of their vehicles per manufacturer specs.
• Generate and provide customers with a complete and accurate estimate of repair orders.
• Establish and communicate completion times of repair with customer and technician.
• Answer incoming service calls and maintain service appointments.
• Follow prescribed procedures for customer post follow-up to drive return visits and CSI.
• Follow warranty guidelines and company policies.
• Uphold integrity and comply with all laws and protect customer and dealership information.
