Job summary

CRH plc is seeking a Project Lead for our Illinois facilities (Elgin, Lombard, or Romeoville). The role is the voice of the customer from estimate to on-site delivery, coordinating with engineering, approval of submittals, and scheduling with production and transportation to ensure 100% customer satisfaction on all orders.

The Project Lead acts as the main contact for customers and vendors, overseeing costs, submittals, and daily progress while ensuring timely delivery and smooth communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; Civil Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years Project Management experience with complex projects.
• Ability to manage several large to small projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the voice of the customer from estimate to on-site delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, scheduling, production, and transportation.
• Lead kickoff meetings and ensure complete information and paperwork.
• Monitor project costs and compliance with contract documents.
• Provide direction to engineering, production planning, procurement, and accounting.
