Job summary

CRH’s Elgin, IL plant seeks a Project Lead to serve as the voice of the customer from estimate through on-site delivery. You will coordinate with engineering, production, and transportation to ensure 100% customer satisfaction on sales orders.

Responsibilities include managing multiple orders, leading kickoff meetings, and acting as the primary contact for customers and vendors. Strong PM and communication skills are essential, with experience in construction or precast industries preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to review and work from production schematics and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Be the voice of the customer across the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple sales orders concurrently.
• Lead turnover meetings and coordinate information for successful project kickoff.
• Serve as main point of contact for customers and vendors.
• Provide direction to engineering, production planning, transportation, procurement, and accounting.
• Prepare change order proposals as needed.
• Monitor progress, proactively solve problems, and expedite projects.
