Job summary

Michaels Stores in La Mesa, CA is seeking a customer-focused team member to help customers in-store and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will assist with stocking, merchandising, and omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS, while maintaining store standards and supporting safety programs.

Preferred candidates have retail or customer service experience and are able to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and move throughout the store as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching is required within store duties

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and general store maintenance, including returns
