Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Rancho San Diego, CA, are seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure fast checkout. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms to keep the store well merchandised.

Candidates with retail or customer service experience are preferred. The role involves omnichannel tasks like BOPIS and SFS, complying with SOPs, and supporting safety programs while representing Michaels values.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling.
• Enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card programs.
• Educate customers on the VOC survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and merchandise recovery.
• Execute Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully and model company values.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
