Job summary

Michaels is looking for a store team member in the San Clemente area to help customers shop, locate products, and provide fast, friendly checkout service. You will handle cash, enroll customers in rewards programs, and support omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

You will also assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and maintaining in-stock conditions. The role requires retail or customer service experience and the ability to stand for long

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with accurate cash handling
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card programs
• Participate in Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram execution
• Maintain in-stock conditions and merchandise recovery
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs
