Job summary

Five Below Inc. is hiring for an hourly store leadership role in Grand Rapids, MI. The position involves ensuring top-tier customer service, supervising crew, and assisting with stock management and daily store operations.

You will lead opening/closing duties, train associates, and work closely with the store leadership team to boost sales while managing expenses. A minimum of 1 year in management and strong communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and friendly service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkouts.
• Oversees daily store activities and staff performance.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and handles store operations and issues.
• Opens/closes the store, secures cash, and ensures daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partners with leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Performs general store maintenance and housekeeping.
