Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership team member in Michigan to oversee daily operations and guest service. You will train associates, manage opening and closing, handle cash control, and support merchandising to drive sales.

The role requires prior management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. This position is hourly with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Must be able to remain composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact at the register and on the floor.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures great customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on shelves.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and handles store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, cash, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and teamwork.
