Job summary

Michaels Stores in Hagerstown, MD is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers with locating products and solutions. You will operate cash registers, handle transactions, and promote the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.

You’ll participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining shelf standards. The role requires standing for long periods, moving throughout the store, and working nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Cross-trained in store procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties.
• Maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store, including returns.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; uphold standards.
• Interact with customers professionally and serve as a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
