Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Idaho to serve as a frontline brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store. You will drive outstanding customer service, process transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance across daily operations.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in sales or cash handling, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment and a commitment to our core values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.
• Must have own reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to align with core values: accountable, inclusive, transparent, focused.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, District Director of Operations, and corporate office when needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries related to general questions, applications, or other issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations.
• Respond professionally to customers, explaining solutions and ensuring they feel supported.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins, including managing a cash drawer and deposits.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Process all transactions accurately per company policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Complete compliance trainings and quarterly I Agree; perform other duties as assigned.
