Job summary

Five Below is seeking an energetic Manager on Duty to lead store operations, supervise associates, and ensure a WOW customer experience. You will oversee opening and closing duties, cash handling, and the daily execution of store standards to deliver fast, friendly service to every guest.

This hourly position starts at $11.50 per hour, with opportunities to train staff, boost sales, and advance within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent College experience
• Minimum 1 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew members wow customers through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure effective performance and service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, overseeing store operations and staff management.
• Manage opening/closing procedures including cash, doors, and alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Perform store maintenance.
