Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Michigan is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

In this part-time role you will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, restock shelves, and ensure a clean, safe store environment while maintaining friendly interactions.

Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are important; prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and coworkers.
• Keep store clean, bathrooms stocked and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
