Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Southfield, Michigan to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help with stocking and store upkeep.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or service industry experience is preferred, with a friendly, professional demeanor and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks during shifts.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned*.
