Job summary

Collectors is seeking a Customer Relations Specialist IV to join the PSA Customer Relations team in Jersey City, NJ. The role is full-time, onsite, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with the potential for temp-to-hire after probation.

You will handle customer inquiries, investigate claims, and work with cross-functional teams to provide accurate information and resolutions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
2+ years of relevant customer relations experience.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and listening abilities.
Empathetic, patient, and ability to de-escalate.
Knowledge of Google Workspace and Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

Exercise discretion and sound judgment when engaging with internal and external parties.
Collaborate with Operations and other departments to resolve customer inquiries.
Provide accurate information using department protocols.
Resolve queries by clarifying issues, identifying causes, and explaining solutions.
Maintain accounts by processing customer adjustments and updates.
Update department spreadsheet of incoming orders and escalate unresolved issues.
